The Tenement Museum tells the stories of immigrant and migrant families who made their homes in a preserved 1863 tenement building at 97 Orchard Street on the Lower East Side. Through guided tours of the restored apartments, visitors experience the lives of the over 7,000 people from more than 20 nations who lived in the building between 1863 and 1935.
