Staten Island Museum at Snug Harbor
The Staten Island Museum at Snug Harbor is the borough's oldest and largest general interest museum, with collections spanning natural history, art, and Staten Island history spanning three centuries. Housed in a landmark Greek Revival building on the Snug Harbor Cultural Center campus, the museum serves as the primary repository for the history and natural heritage of Staten Island.

The museum's collection of over 2 million objects encompasses Staten Island natural history specimens, 19th- and 20th-century American art, and historical artifacts documenting the cultural, social, and environmental history of the borough. The natural science collection includes significant entomology and botany holdings.
