Rubin Museum of Art
The Rubin Museum of Art is dedicated to the art and cultures of the Himalayas, India, and neighboring regions, presenting one of the finest collections of Himalayan art in the world in an intimate six-floor space. The museum explores connections between art, ideas, and the human experience through exhibitions, film, music, and conversation programs.

Permanent Collection
The Rubin's collection encompasses over 3,000 works from the Himalayas, India, and neighboring regions, spanning a period of nearly 1,500 years. Particularly notable are the collections of Tibetan thangka paintings, bronze sculpture, and ritual objects that document the rich artistic traditions of Buddhism, Hinduism, and Bon.
