Permanent Collection
The MCNY holds more than 750,000 objects documenting the history and culture of New York City, including paintings, photographs, prints, maps, costumes, toys, and decorative arts. The landmark exhibition New York at Its Core tells the 400-year story of New York from a Dutch trading post to a global capital.
