MOFAD is dedicated to making food a legitimate subject of serious museum inquiry.

Permanent Collection

MOFAD presents rotating thematic exhibitions exploring the stories behind global food systems, ingredients, and culinary traditions, combining artifacts, multimedia, and sensory experiences. Past exhibitions have explored American Chinese food, flavor science, and the global history of breakfast.
