MoCADA
Museum of Contemporary African Diaspora Arts
The Museum of Contemporary African Diaspora Arts (MoCADA) is the only museum in New York City dedicated exclusively to contemporary art of the African Diaspora, presenting exhibitions, film, and community programs that amplify the voices of Black artists from the Americas, the Caribbean, Europe, and Africa.
Permanent Collection
MoCADA focuses on temporary exhibitions rather than a static permanent collection, presenting contemporary artists of African descent in rotating shows that respond to current cultural and political contexts.
