Historic Richmond Town

Historic Richmond Town is a 100-acre living history museum and village that preserves thirty historic structures spanning three centuries of Staten Island's history, from a 17th-century schoolhouse to a 19th-century general store, with costumed interpreters bringing the past to life through demonstrations of period crafts and trades. It is operated by the Staten Island Historical Society.

Permanent Collection

The museum village encompasses thirty historic structures relocated from around Staten Island, including homes, workshops, and public buildings spanning 1695 to the early 20th century. Costumed interpreters demonstrate tinsmithing, printing, and other period crafts, while the museum's collections include Staten Island photographs, documents, and decorative arts.
