Artists Space
Artists Space is one of New York's oldest and most influential alternative art spaces, founded in 1972 to support emerging and under-recognized artists. Located in a Tribeca alley, it presents experimental exhibitions, performances, film screenings, and critical programs across art, architecture, and design.

Artists Space maintains an archive of over 60,000 slides documenting NYC's alternative art scene since the 1970s, while its program focuses entirely on contemporary and experimental work.
